Surviving the Climate

Overview

Excited to share Surviving the Climate, a podcast I've been collaborating on with my co-host Nate and producer Marcelo Jauregui-Volpe!

The show is built around practical information for regular people navigating a hotter world. Bringing the science down to the actions and takeaways that actually matter day to day. We are trying to create a tone which is informative but also entertaining, and not taking ourselves too seriously (though we take the topic itself very seriously).

Surviving the Climate grew out of an internship at the Global Heat Health Information Network that led to Nate and I to create the Reddit, Inc. forum r/heat_prep, an online community for regular people to discuss extreme heat and strategies to stay cool, now with tens of thousands of weekly visitors.

This podcast is the next step on this journey: connecting the growing climate-related research with ongoing on-the-ground conversations. It's the podcast we always wanted to listen to but didn't exist.
